Should Interval Training Be Done Every Day?

by in Fitness Training

hit-graphInterval training is amazing for improving your fitness and burning fat, but should it be done every day?

That was the question that was posed to me by one of my youtube viewers not too long ago. Here’s what he wrote:

“Yuri, my situation is I lift on monday, wednesday, and fridays, and do intervals right after.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do slow cardio to keep myself at least a little busy for like 20 mins and then do another maybe 10 mins of interval consisting of about 5 sprints.

I generally rest on the weekends unless if I get too bored.

So my question is, is it ok to do intervals Monday through Friday? Or should I just limit it to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday? Thank you.”

Personally, I think the way he’s laid out his training is pretty solid already but doing intervals every day? Probably not the best idea.
