7 Awesome Ways To Do Push-Ups

Posted on 07. Dec, 2009 by yuri in Fitness Training

pushup2I went to the gym yesterday and decided to challenge myself by doing 12 sets of push-ups. That’s all I did.

My goal was to complete 12 sets of 25 push-ups with no more than 1 minute rest in between each set. Obviously by the 5th set, that rest period started to lengthen to 2 minutes and beyond as my chest, triceps, and shoulders were on fire.

But instead of just doing the same old boring push-ups, I decided to mix things up.

Remember the golden rule of training for results – variety! You need to keep your muscles guessing and challenge them in new ways to prevent hitting plateaus.

So to show you what I did, I’ve attached 2 of my push up videos to give you the visuals. In these 2 videos, you’ll learn a total of 7 awesome ways to do push-ups.
