The Reality of Losing Belly Fat

Let’s face it – losing belly fat and getting a firm flat stomach is not easy, right?
If it was easy you probably wouldn’t be reading this post.
When we talk about belly fat loss we’re really talking about full body fat loss. You can’t spot reduce so therefore, any fat loss that occurs will affect your entire body – not just your abdominals.
You can spot strengthen BUT not spot reduce. And that’s where most people get it all wrong.
They think that because they do thousands of ab exercises like crunches and sit-ups, they will be spot reducing their belly fat and building a six pack.
Well, the truth of the matter is that they will be building stronger, more endurant abs but they won’t be able to see them if there’s a layer of fat covering them up.
Isolated exercises like these have absolutely no impact of losing stomach fat.
