Fat Burning Workout

I woke up this morning not feeling to upbeat after a sushi dinner last night.

Maybe it was the sodium??

Anyways, I got out of bed and new that an awesome fat burning workout was just what I needed to kickstart my day.

When I say “fat burning workout” what I really mean is a workout that incorporates intense full body exercises, heavy amounts of sweat, strength endurance, and cardio interval training.

Quite a few elements to a great workout that helps to burn calories, fat, and leaves you feeling absolutely amazing!

The other cool component of this workout is that this was the exact Fat Blaster 2 workout from Month 5 of my Fitter U Fitness program.

And…

Because this workout is available in MP3 audio format, I was listening to my own voice over my headphones. It’s amazing how much more effective a workout can be when you’ve got a coach keeping you accountable and coaching you throughout the work.

In my case, it was me coaching me which is pretty interesting!

Anyways, because this fat burning workout is an exclusive workout to my members-only Fitter U Fitness program, I can’t divulge all the details.

But I will give you a similar workout that will also help you burn fat and give you a good reality check of your current fitness level.

Try This Fat Loss Workout…

Warm-up:

5 minutes light cardio
2-3 minutes dynamic stretching

Circuit Training Workout:
*perform each of the following exercises for 30 seconds with little to no rest in between each. Rest for 2 minutes after the first set, then repeat for a total of 3 setes.

1. Lunge Walks w/ Shoulder Press

2. Push-up w/ dumbbell back raw (aka “renegade back rows”)

3. Reverse Lunge into Step-Up

4. Twisting Side Plank

5. Lawnmowers

6. DB Swings

Interval Training
* Grab a cardio machine and finish the workout with 10 minutes of high intensity interval training using the following protocol:

Work = 100% for 15 seconds

Recover = 70% for 30 seconds

Repeat so that 10 minutes of work is completed.

Summing Up…

So there you have it.

An awesome fat burning workout that WILL help you burn calories because it gets all your muscles working at a high intensity (30 seconds usually allows no more than about 10 reps), which has a huge “metabolic cost”.

Also, the 10 minutes of intervals at the end of the workout further burns calories and will have you dripping sweat from head to toe.

When it comes to losing fat you need to ensure that you’re building strength (using weights) and spiking your metabolism with high intensity training.
