Easy Ways to Tone Your Stomach Fast

What you must know here is that crunches are not going to be ideal for losing stomach fat.  Since in order to get lean you really must burn off more calories than you consume, that must be the first and top priority.  Crunches really don’t cause you to burn much total calories, therefore if that’s all your performing, you aren’t going to see the results you were expecting.

So now that we’ve covered the fact that you need to boost your calorie burn to really accelerate stomach fat loss, now let’s look at a few more of the ways that you can tone your stomach fast.

Cut Out Starchy Carbohydrates

The very first thing that you’ll want to do is start reducing back on the amount of starchy carbohydrates that you’re consuming.  For every gram of these that you take in, the body is going to store four grams of water, so if your goal is to get lean, this is going to make it quite difficult to do.

By reducing back your intake to just fruits and vegetables for a few days, you’ll almost instantly notice that your stomach looks leaner.

Reduce Sodium Intake

Second, the next thing that you’re going to want to focus on is reducing your sodium intake.  Just like carbohydrates, taking in too much sodium is also going to cause water retention in the body and will make you look like you have more belly fat than you really do.

To help offset this, make sure that you’re also eating enough potassium.  Sodium and potassium work in opposition of each other so by making sure you’re taking in enough potassium, that will go a long way towards keeping sodium levels balanced and under control, helping you get lean quickly.

Limit Dairy Products

Third, some people also find that dairy products can cause them to bloat up pretty bad so if you want to tone your stomach fast, consider limiting your consumption of these.  This isn’t the case for everyone so learn your own body and then do whatever is best for it.

Boost Your Protein Consumption

Finally, the last way to get lean and to tone your stomach is to limit the amount of protein you consume with each meal.  Protein is the macronutrient that will increase your metabolism up the highest just from eating it so by increasing the protein consumption, you’ll automatically speed fat loss results.

Plus, protein tends to make you lose excess water weight while carbs make you retain it (as illustrated above) therefore increasing the protein intake is a quick way to slim down in a hurry.

So keep these tips in mind.  If you follow all of them plus get yourself on a reduced calorie diet, there’s no reason you can’t tone you stomach quickly.
