FitterU: Weeks 4 & 5
by Yuri in Client Journeys
Hello beautiful people! I hope you are having a great day. I know I am. Had a smoothie for breakfast. Then, spent the next hour listening to an awesome new interview Yuri sent out in the June issue of his Liv Well e-Newsletter. Lots of great information in there. I also forwarded it to my mom who recently told me she thinks she’s insulin resistant now. Hope she listens to it.
===SIDEBAR===
If you’re not already subscribed to Yuri’s newsletter, you should be. You can subscribe here. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says, “Join Our Exclusive Wellness Community – it’s FREE.”) I highly recommend it.

Anyways, by the time I finished listening to that interview, my smoothie had settled and the energy had kicked in, so on to the Fitter U workout for today. Then, a post-workout smoothie, which is now settling in my tummy as I type. That’s a great morning!
Soooo … I’m done with Week 4 of the FitterU 12 week program. Week 5 … not so much.
Week 4 is intended as a lighter week. You take things a little easier than normal, let your body rest a little bit, in preparation for kicking it up a notch in Phase 2. You do only two HIIT workouts (instead of 3), and you do the same workout both days (instead of a different workout each time). Then, Week 5 starts Phase 2, and Yuri mixes things up a bit.
Well, I did Week 4. The more relaxed pace was nice. Plus, the workouts take the circuit -> intervals -> circuit format I prefer. During the Day 1 audio, Yuri talks about some sleep system he recommends and says to check it out at his Total Wellness Consulting website. It sounds interesting, so I went to check it out but couldn’t find it. Maybe I heard and/or remembered wrong. I will have to go back and listen to that audio again, or maybe Yuri is reading this and will post a link in the comments. {hint, hint}
I did the first day of Week 5, but on Day 2, I had a sore throat, which I know always means I’m getting sick. Then, by Day 3, I was running a fever. So I didn’t do Day 2 or 3 and will have to start over with Week 5 next week.
Until next time, have a beautiful day!

Thanks for the post Terri. And thank you for recommending subscribe to my free newsletter.
Regarding the sleep system, I no longer have a link to it on my site because it doesn’t really help the “net navigator” that much. The company that makes the sleep system is called Nikken and there site is http://www.nikken.com.
I still sleep on their mattress but you’ll need to find a direct representative to purchase any of their stuff – bit of a pain in the butt.
