Burning Fat and the Best Time of Day to Workout
by Yuri in Weight Loss
You may have heard that for burning fat you are better off working out in the morning before breakfast, right?
Well, is there any merit to that claim? After all, what happens if your energy is so low in the morning that you end up exercising less intensely (and thus burn fewer calories) than if you worked out later in the day?
Food for thought for sure.
But that’s the question that was recently asked of me by another one of my youtube viewers.
Here’s what she wanted to know:
“Yuri, does it really matter whether you workout in the morning..afternoon..or evening for burning fat? Because if i workout in the morning it is about 5am due to school starting at 7:00. So does it really matter? Do you burn more fat at a certain time?
Here’s my answer…
=> When’s your favourite time to workout and WHY?

I work out at 5 A.M. and I have a hard time waking up as it is. In the gym I am motivated but waking up is difficult, so I wait till the very last minute. ( I do not like the idea of being depleted; I had never thought of it that way.) I have heard that you should eat at least 30 minutes prior. Is an apple sufficient? Many times I have eaten an apple on the way to the gym (Which of course, is not 30 minutes prior.).
